Installed Building Products Environmental Policy

Installed Building Products recognizes the importance of environmental preservation and the direct connection between our business and the health of our planet and communities. As a leading installer of insulation in residential and commercial construction, our business is focused on improving energy efficiency and conservation of buildings by reducing the energy required for heating and cooling, reducing the greenhouse emissions.

Similarly, we recognize the need and importance of managing the impacts our business operations have on the environment. We are committed to reduce our environmental footprint and protect biodiversity. Installed Building Products focuses on the following initiatives:

• Evaluation of Installed Building Products’ environmental impacts from operations, products and facilities, with an emphasis on minimizing impacts and restoring properties affected by operations
• Efficient use of natural resources to minimize waste generation through recycling efforts, prevention of pollution and utilization of products made from recycled content, where possible
• Maintain fleet and optimize daily vehicle routes to minimize atmospheric emissions
• Evaluate and increase the usage of renewable and carbon-free energy
• Integrate environmental responsibilities and considerations into operations and decision- making
• Promote effective environmental management by our suppliers, vendors and partners
• Compliance with all applicable environmental laws and regulations, including the EA Clean Water Act
• Promote policies to conserve and protect water, as it is a basic human right
• Promote awareness of environmental policies for our employees
